"My wife and I recently moved to Charlotte, and we used Natalie Terry as our realtor.
Initially the company I interviewed with set us up with a realtor, but I didn’t think he would be the right type of person for us to work with. We needed someone who was very knowledgeable about the area, able to understand our needs, and be able to help drive the closing schedule based on our short time frame.
Natalie was recommended to us by my brother in law. Within five minutes of speaking with her, I knew she would be great. She first agreed to work with the requirements of our relocation company, which showed she was interested in working with us. Then, in less than a week of our first contact, we flew down to Charlotte and she had 6 homes in exactly the type of neighborhoods we were looking for to show us.
After we decided on the neighborhood we wanted, she spent another day showing us 6 homes in that area. This was now only 1 week since we had first contacted her, and shed had already spent about 12 hours showing us properties, along with another 10 hours of prep. I was impressed.
Once we had a contract on a home, she was outstanding. She did everything from coordinating the appraisal to the home inspection, to working with the seller to make sure all improvements would be completed on time. She understood our goals and schedule and worked very hard to help us accomplish these.
Our closing went off without a problem, and we have now been living happily in our home for the last two months. I can honestly say that working with Natalie was a pleasure, and I would give her my highest recommendation. "We just wanted to thank you for all of your help with the build and purchase of our wonderful new home.
When we were originally thinking of moving down to Charlotte North Carolina we started looking on the web for information about the area. Michael was drawn to your web site since it was the most informative and substantial. After our initial phone call you sent us a thick welcome to Charlotte package with tons of information along with several e-mails with listings to try to pin down what we were looking for in our new home. This positive response made us excited to come down and begin the process of looking for a home in Charlotte. Once we were able to come into town you did a great job taking us to see the models and subdivisions that would best suit our needs and preferences. Even though you just had eye surgery, you accommodated our travel schedule to the area. You knew that we were looking for an open floor plan and large lot. So you took us to see the Turnberry Model and we totally feel in love with it. Then when we saw the wooded ½ acre lot with the rolling hills over looking the golf course we were sold. It was amazing how well this house matched what we were looking for. Additionally, you let know that it would be an easier commute from the south of town into Charlotte and in South Carolina the taxes are lower and the schools are better than in North Carolina. These are the kinds of insights that someone from out of town needs to know to make the best decision. During the build you made us feel comfortable even though we were hundreds of miles away in Detroit. The way your team took photos of the house every few weeks and e-mailed them to us was almost as good as being here seeing the progress for ourselves. Your phone calls and e-mails kept us on the same page with the build as well as the sale of our two homes up in Detroit. Also at one point Turnberry dropped the ball on our weekly progress calls and you were instrumental at working through this issue with the builder and getting us in touch with the Vice President of Construction for Turnberry to get things back on track. Whenever we came into town for design appointments or to walk through the house you were there for us and made us feel like we were your only client or concern. You always said to just let you know if we needed anything. We asked for your insight and knowledge of the area for temporary housing, an insurance agent, an accountant, a local recruiter for a good job position, and even fun bars and restaurants. At the end of the build you were very helpful with the final walk through. Since we had never built a new house before you pointed out things we should be looking for. You were a much needed additional set of eyes to help mark items that needed the builder’s attention. You were also the voice of reason when stress was running high the day before closing. Finally, on the day of closing you were so sweet to bring us a welcome doormat, flowers in a beautiful painted vase, gift cards for each of us and Champaign to celebrate this monumental day in our lives. Natalie, you made our dream a reality and we really appreciate your dedication, professionalism, knowledge and warm personality. We are very happy and plan on living a in our new home for a long time. However we would never hesitate to call you if we needed a realtor or to refer you to anyone we hear is looking for a home or to relocate to this area. Natalie, I wanted to take a few minutes to say thank you for all of your help, caring and professionalism during our search for our new home. We were moving to Charlotte from out of state and knew very little about the area. We had worked with several other agents before we referred to you. The other agents did not take the time or make the effort to get to know what we were looking for. You spent a lot of time discovering what our needs and wants were. You also worked with us to find a home close to my work which was our primary concern.
Not only did you visit houses with us, but you also did extensive searches for us on MLS, as well as visiting potential neighborhoods and houses for us prior to visiting with us. This was very helpful as well as appreciative and respectful of our time constraints. You were also very helpful in recommending a mortgage broker and a home inspector. We also plan to use the Decorator that you recommended. We will also use you as a resource in the future to recommend other service professionals.
Natalie, you were with us during the entire process. When we were not able to participate in the home inspection your team was there to represent us. When we had to leave the final walkthrough early you stayed to work with the Contractor. You were at the closing and have worked with us to follow up with punch list items after closing. We have worked with a lot of agents before and most agents consider their job done when an offer is made and accepted. It was great that you continued to work for us long after you really had to.

As first time home buyers, our family was faced with a dilemma. "Is this
